Even though I am going to be working this summer, there are still a lot of things I want to do! Here is my list in progress:
- Make crepes. I really want to make some delicious crepes this summer! So easy and delicious.
- Aprons. Sew some cute aprons for my housemates next year.
- Sew foot-warmers (bags of rice that you can heat in the microwave) for my housemates next year
- Go to the beach a lot!
- Throw a summer party with my friends (theme yet to be decided).
- Have a summer reading list of all the books I want to read this summer (suggestions would be welcomed).
- Keep up with my blog- I really want to be better about documenting my outfits/ shopping finds/ sewing projects/ drawings.
- Try some new vegetarian and vegan recipes that I can make next year and gather some cookbooks up for our new house.
- Go to the gym a lot and possibly some beach runs and swims- hopefully working at a personal training business will inspire me to keep up my exercise regimen.
- Dress well! I have a real job this summer so I am going to embrace this opportunity to dress well.
- Clean out my closet. Even though I wasn't living at home this year, somehow my closet was still full of clothes and shoes whenever I went home! How can this be? I need a serious closet cleaning and maybe a clothes exchange with my friends.
- Surf! I am going to try to do some surfing time with my gal pals and my dad.
- Visit Berkeley. I have a house in Berkeley this summer so I want to come visit and bring friends and my brother.
- Sew napkins, placemats, and curtains for my house next year. My mom and I have some serious sewing work to do. Bring out the serger!
- Make scarves. I want to go to Fabrics R Us and get some cheap silky fabric to make some fun scarves.
- Begin the hunt for furniture for my house next year!
- Make some comfy, stylish wrap-around skirts and dresses.
Wow! There are so many things I want to do and I know this list isn't close to completed. Three finals are keeping me away from summer! Almost there.
Count me in on some of those projects! No more messing around!
