Rainy Days

 For spring break I returned to Santa Cruz for a week of stormy weather, birthday celebrations, and daffodils. All week I was indoors, while it rained and winded outside. Yesterday, we threw a party for my Dad's 50th birthday, and the sun decided to make a surprise appearance. I embraced this spot of sunshine and put on my new bright yellow H&M skirt from Crossroads Trading Co., a white blouse, and my white heeled boots. My mom noticed how well my skirt matched the daffodils that were in our house, and took a few pictures of me while a played cards with my brother.

A guest at the party brought this arrangement as a gift. I love the idea!
The bright yellow daffodils with the lemons was stunning and so very clever.
