French Macaroons

This afternoon my mom and I tried a french macaroon recipe. We chose Martha Stewart's recipe and made cocoanut, raspberry, and chocolate cookies with vanilla, raspberry, and chocolate fillings. The raspberry cookies didn't turn out (too flat), but we still made some lovely combinations with the cocoanut and chocolate cookies. Yum!

Gado Gado

My friend Torunn, my mom, and I made gado gado the other night. Spinach with carrots, sprouts, tofu, green onions, broccoli, egg, lime, and peanut sauce with peanuts sprinkled on top. It was delicious! We also made cocoanut macaroons which were yummy!
